American Labor Museum/Botto House National Landmark 83 Norwood Street, Haledon, NJ 07508 Wed-Sat, 1-4 pm & by appointment.
May 1 – August 24 20,000 members of Local 23-25 of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union – most of them Chinese immigrant women – walked off the job in protest in 1982, staging a brief, successful strike.
